Insight into Tu Es Belle
A wedding is a significant occasion, not only celebrating the union of a couple but also marks a pivotal moment for a bride to be surrounded and supported by her closest friends! Last week Charlotte and Tayah organised and directed a beautiful photoshoot for Maison Oui highlighting a collection of bridal minis and gowns from Oui The Label, Cherie By Oui and Sienricher. ‘Tu Es Belle’ aimed to beautifully capture the essence of female friendship and unity with an overarching theme of hyper-femininity and embellished aesthetics, reminiscent of a fairy picnic.
The Abbotsford Convent created the most dreamy backdrop for this shoot and our picnic vision came to life with the help of the amazing Jazmine McNamara from Cloth and Confetti, a wedding and event styling business. We worked collaboratively with Jazmine to create a brief and she absolutely knocked it out of the park with her freestyling on the day. Special shoutout to Social Event Hire for the beautiful table decor and glassware used to bring the table and champagne tower to life.
Patchanida (Patti) Chimkire, owner of Mali Bakes generously provided two spectacular cakes for us that couldn't have been any more on theme. Her attention to detail was truly impressive and the cakes themselves were delicious! If you ever find yourself in Thornbury make sure to go check out her store! Everyone has to try one of her cakes at least once in their life.
The stunning flower vases and the enchanting winter bouquet were generously provided by Piper, the creative mind behind Piper and Posie. Her playful and whimsical approach to floral design truly shone through in our shoot. The blooms perfectly captured the essence we were aiming for, we couldn't get enough photos of them!
The whole shoot came together because of our wonderful and talented photographer, Andy Lambert from Ten Acres Agency! Andy bought such a good energy to set on shoot day and seeing the results had everyone's jaws on the floor. No doubt you’ll be seeing more collaborative work between Maison Oui and Ten Acres Agency in the future!
Helen’s hair and makeup beautifully complemented the garments, enhancing their elegance and sophistication. The makeup application was flawless, highlighting each model's unique features and enhancing the overall aesthetic of Maison Oui's collection. The simple, organic and youthful makeup/hair looks were exactly what we envisioned.
Finer Rings provided the perfect collection of dainty, girly, coquette jewellery we wanted to help complement the dresses thus completing the bridal look, showing customers how to accessorise their gowns.
A final thank you to our beautiful models, Gemma, Bella, Lily, Darma, and Kate who all completely nailed it on shoot day. Everyone looked so stunning and persevered through the chilly weather!
